Making images outdoors sometimes can be taken for granted and can be overlooked or just another mobile phone pic. But if you can make people stop and think about their potential then all this is worth it.

Urban gardening today. Saturday 22nd January 2010
Planting seeds are important if you want your garden to grow. Much of what I do takes the same principle of growing plants in that I try to paint the environment and give people something better to look at.

Three man army
This weekend's collaboration saw me team up with Demo from Holland and Keen WRH.
Keen needs no introduction to anyone who knows about UK Graffiti culture. His letter-styles have been a personal favourite of mine for 20 years and he's knocked out productions with sincerity and dedication.
Demo keeps his graf consistent and always produces something sharp. I got boxed in on this one which wasn't a problem.
Today we had sunshine which even though it was 5 degrees felt like a heatwave.
Enjoy this winter collabo.

The weather men
Recently on The Stockwell Park Estate I had the good fortune to work with artists Smug, Eskum and Bonzai on a collaboration mural. Our timing in terms of the weather could not have been worse as the heavens threw down what they could on us.
The suggestions of water proof paint, inventions to keep water off the wall and general bemoaning all came up during our many breaks at the Madeira Cafe over the road. In fact had it not been for their great coffee and amazing custard tarts I think I would have gone home defeated.
The wall took a battering but at least guest artists Smug and Eskum went home with some decent photos and a good story...
The weather hasn't got me beaten, its all about waking up that extra hour early and getting out there to achieve. Enjoy!

2010. A Mango odyssey
To see in the New Year I decided to give the Mango Landin' a bit of interior elegance for the New Years Eve party. The legendary Soothsayers were playing not to mention DJ Magoo & Claw so this was an opportunity not to be missed.
The theme was Golden Nights. Hmmm, sounds very James Bond to me. Enjoy and if you are in Brixton come and check out Mango Landin's great food menu!

Return to Brixton Village
I couldn't resist going back to Brixton village and giving the walls another seeing too.
The idea was to take a real grimy wall space and see what could be achieved in a couple of days. I kept the colours green to give a natural feel to the space.
Enjoy the transformation and if you are in the area drop by and sample Brixton Village's amazing foods.
