Food for thought

Todays escapades were fuelled by Portobello Roads finest establishment ' Falafal King'. I never usually plug businesses but this place is so special. I had the pleasure to meet Towns RT in there who unfortunately was unable to paint due to the wet weather. What was really strange was that he was painting under the motorway, I guess the rain slants really bad there. One place I won't be painting. How very strange some folk. Check out Falafal kings.
Meanwhile Chemtrails are continuing to be sprayed over London.

Always cancel out street art

It seems like the 'purple carrot' people carried out their threat of retaliation on our wall for painting over their carrot. If I had known such an iconic piece of street art had meant so much to them I would probably have left it up but the thought of having one of my favourite veg's hanging above my work and then having to explain to everyone who asks, the huge Veg leaves me terrified. I kind of worked out it must have been a real ball ache painting that huge thing but when it comes to doing what I do large, it is never a pain to get rid if that street art rubbish. So Rasty and Motor joined in the fun. If it lasts it lasts, if not we'll be back next week. Enjoy, and get out into the city.....and explore these places.

Recently PCP crew member Rasty joined me on the Stockwell Park Estate to paint a full wall. Rasty runs Graffiti store and Gallery ' Greyscale' in Johannesberg which recently hosted the City of Gold Urban festival in the city. Greyscale is located at 33 De Kort St, Braamfontein in the City Of Gold. Also joining us for todays session was Neonita, painting a fantastic Golden Buddah. Check her out on www.neonita.co.uk

The finishing line

A return to East London was on the cards recently for myself and Motor to spend a day fixing up the spot we have off Brick Lane. A quick decision was made on what was to stay or go on the wall so I decided to mulsh out the huge carrot which would end up sitting on top of my piece. Some things just have to go. Motor painted her signature characters complete with symetrical background.
Fortunately for us we had the sun all day even though overhead their was constant helicopter activity courtesy of President Obamas visit to London. At one point we were circled by Chinooks and I couldn't help thinking that maybe me wearing my keffeyah scarf might be a cause for a security concern. Unfortunately I had to face the wrath of two disgruntled Italian Street artists who painted the carrot as to why it had been painted over. After failing miserably to convince them how good the wall was going to look without the carrot I settled with them threatening to come back and destroy the wall, which would be great as being a painter i'd get to do it twice!
This wall is currently on The Alternative London Tour so if you fancy a differant view of this fair city go check out www.alternativeldn.co.uk.
