My latest project is to take inspiration from nature and use it to illustrate and form words. Nature and graffiti go together in a sense that I've spent enough time hiding in Foliage to really understand that there's something beautiful about having enough of the stuff around you in times of crisis.
Trees and plants are a great source of inspiration and these paintings are part of a series. keep watching...

West Coast All Star on Stockwell Park Estate
Legendary West Coast Artist SLICK passed through on Saturday to say "what's up!".
Slick has always been an inspiration and it was witnessing him and RISK win the Street Art Championships up in Bridlington in 1989 that really struck me and his battle with Hex at the Belmont Tunnel in LA was the essence of what real graffiti battles are about.
Go Google Slick and feed on some classic artwork.
Also check his new project www.dissizit.com

Carbon neutral?
This weeks production on the glorious Stockwell Park Estate was inspired by my recent trip to Westonbirt Arboretum's Tree Festival with Leigh and Sarah to meet up with Tom Hare. The idea of including nature within a urban setting would be great if it included tree sculptures but also a more imaginative use of the spaces and adding more design.
No extra carbon credits were used in creating this piece.

Portobello Film Festival 2009
Thursday 3rd September saw the launch of Portobello Film Festival at Westbourne Studios.
To accompany this, artists Zeus, Sickboy, Dotmasters and myself were invited to paint the show boards in the central arena.
The theme for me this year was alien statues, inspired by African masks, Mayan artifacts and trips to various woodlands! They were created in just two days.
Its an ongoing theme so I hope to bring more of this soon. Watch this blog...

Bank Holiday Workout
Transition Town, Brixton
On Thursday 27th August I teamed up with debate your plate to paint a piece for Transition Town Brixton. Soon the Brixton pound will be available to be spent in local businesses. The idea is that money will stay within the local community and will raise peoples awareness of the importance of supporting local traders and growers.
In September Brixton gets its first farmers market in the town centre. I'm personally hoping we go the whole hog, independence, our own laws and throw a decent flag in for good measures!

Drippy!!
Taking a break from painting and letting gravity do the work at Stockwell Park Estate my latest painting celebrates the drip!
For years I've spent hours avoiding drips and runs in my work, frantically fixing them only to find that they actually look pretty good. See what you think below:
This latest piece was graffitied over so I had to fix it up and boost up the background.
