The Prince's Trust is the UK's largest youth charity helping unemployed or educationally underachieving young people overcome barriers in their lives to progress onto further education, training or employment.
The XL celebration day was to celebrate the achievements and experiences of Year 10 and 11 students who have been on an alternative curriculum programme for the last two years. The XL programme is a re - engagement programme for 13 - 19 year olds which works in around 85 Pupil Referral Units, Youth Offending Teams and secondary schools across London and the South East.
For this event the young people had to come up with a graffiti based design idea and sketch then draw onto canvas board adding colour...all within a hour. A pretty hard task for anyone not used to drawing but all the young people finished their pictures and went home with the designs they had created.
