The Zulu Nation 41st Anniversary, London

The Zulu Nation recently held their 41st Anniverasy at The Total Refreshment Centre in London.
Founded by Afrika Bambaataa in the early 70's, The Zulu Nation were at the forefront at promoting positivity in Hip Hop culture.
The Watch This Space Project joined them for the celebration and profiled some images taken during a recent trip to Tumaini Senior School in Isiolo, Kenya. Some of the students artwork was shown and also portrait work of them in London.

Positive Arts

Recently the Positive Arts team went to Blackpool and the Emirates Stadium to complete a series of workshops with young people for Anti Bullying week.

Meanwhile in Pretoria / Tshwane...

Headed to the fine City of Pretoria renamed Tshwane to catch up with one of its finest talents ' Jestr' who likes to paint the tunnels. The Oscar Pistorius trial was in full swing and also on the 'to do' list was the Voortrekker monument and fort which detailed ' The great trek' in the 1800's and the fight against British Tyranny.
